B/W would be sooo difficult. Well, when the pictures were taken, nobody was aware of this buzzword anyway …
Licht durchs Fenster, viel weiß im Raum und ein tolles Model…das ist alles. Und da sagen die immer „sensual“ B/W wäresooo schwierig. Nun gut, als die Aufnahmen entstanden kannte dieses Modewort sowieso noch keiner…Einen kleinen Kniff gibt es aber trotzdem dabei. Die Belichtungsdynamik im Bild ist bei natürlichem Lichteinfall abhängig von Lage, Tages- und Jahreszeit, und natürlich vom Wetter. Man muss sich also nach dem Richten, was man vorfindet.
Will man dies nicht, muss man zwangsläufig mit extrem viel Blitzpower arbeiten. Aber für diese Schwarzweiß-Umsetzung des Themas war es genau richtig. Nicht zu gleichförmig, um organischeBildwirkung zu erzielen und ein wenig warm, was die Grautöne indem ansonsten recht einfarbigen Zimmer unterstützt. Die Idee mit dem leicht zerschlissenen Dessous kam uns dann beim Anblick der ebenfalls nicht mehr ganz taufrischen Ausstattung. Ergebenhat das ganze dann eine Art „Punky-Glamoure“.

The exposure dynamics in the picture depend on the location, time of day and season, and ofcourse the weather. So you have to acto on what you find. If you don’t want this, you inevitably have to work with a lotof lightning power. But for this black-and-white implementation ofthe theme it was just right. Not too uniform to achieve an organicimage effect and a little warm, which supports the gray tones inthe otherwise very monochrome room. The idea of the slightlytattered lingerie came to us when we saw the set furnishings,which were also no longer completely fresha bit ruged themselves. The result was a kind of „punky glamor“.
