Manchmal hält der Zufall für uns Aufnamegelegenheiten bereit die ein spontanes Feuerwerk zünden das in der Nachbetrachtung immer besser wird. So auch an jenem Spätherbstnachmittag als die „Queen“ zwischen zwei Set´s auch unbedingt vors Fenster wollte…. Ich hatte aber weder davor noch dahinter für Ordnung gesorgt und die Scheibe schon ämm etwas länger nicht geputzt. Wieder erwarten war mir dann aber schon beim ersten Blick durch den Sucher klar, genau deswegen hat das was: Spiegelungen vorne Hinten, Dimension und eine als Filter fungierende recht schmutzige Scheibe. So entstand dieses recht einzigartige Set. Was lernen wir daraus? Nicht alles ist Planbar, oder Plane auch immer den „Jazzimprofaktor“ mit ein.
Sometimes chance presents us with recording opportunities that ignite spontaneous fireworks that get better and better when you look back. That was the case on that late autumn afternoon when the „Queen“ really wanted to go to the window between two sets… But I hadn’t tidied up the front or back and I hadn’t cleaned the window for a while. But unexpectedly, it was clear to me when I first looked through the viewfinder that this was exactly what it was about: reflections at the front and back, dimension and a rather dirty window that acts as a filter. That’s how this quite unique set came about. What can we learn from this? Not everything can be planned, or always plan for the „jazz improvisation factor“.
