We did a little homage to Marilyn and her photographer Tom Kelley, but on our on way!
Wer kennt sie nicht, die Bilder der Ikone Marelyn/Marilyn Monroe. Was aber wenige wissen ist, dass sie vor ihrer großen Karriere als Pin-Up-Model recht bekannt war. Unter anderem wird eine Serie des amerikanischen Fotografen Tom Kelly immer wieder herangezogen. Irrtümlich wird diese Serie immer in den 50ern verortet, doch tatsächlich entstand sie schon 1949. Nach der Werbekampagne für „Love Happy“ war sie wieder einmal arbeitslos und nahm deshalb Kontakt mit dem Fotografen Tom Kelley auf. Neben Reklamefotos ließ sie sich für eine Serie von professionellen Aktfotos ablichten. Marelyn/Marilyn nude vor rotem Laken. Ein Originalabzug kostet inzwischen stolze 25.000 Euro. Übrigens war eines dieser Fotos 1953 auch das Cover der ersten Playboy-Ausgabe.
Mein Model, wer ahnt es, ist ein Fan und so kam der Gedanke etwas in der Richtung zu machen. Allerdings platt nachmachen wollten wir nicht; deswegen haben wir einfach Laken durch Teppich getauscht und die Freizügigkeit ins neue Jahrtausend geholt. Hoffentlich sorgt das nur für positive Aufregung.

In addition to advertising photos, she was photographed for a series of professional nudes. Marilyn nude in front of a red sheet – an original print now costs animpressive 25,000 eEuros. My model, who suspects it, is a fan and so the idea came up to do something like that. However, we didn‘t want to imitate it, so we simply swapped sheets for carpets and brought the explizit factor of the pictures into the new millennium. Hopefully that only creates positive excitement.
